Before your first session, you will be asked to complete a short chakra assessment. This is not a test. There are no right answers. It is simply a map — one that helps Krish understand where you are energetically before the session begins, so that the work can be tailored specifically to you.

This article explains what the assessment is, how the chakra system works as a diagnostic framework, and how to fill it out in a way that will actually be useful.

Why an Assessment Before a Session?

Every person who comes to a session arrives carrying a unique energetic signature. Some people have open, flowing energy in the upper chakras but feel cut off from the lower body. Others feel grounded and physical but struggle to access stillness or inner clarity. Some carry old grief in the heart centre. Others hold tension in the throat — things unsaid, truths unexpressed.

Without understanding where you specifically are, a session would have to be generic. The chakra assessment makes personalisation possible. It is the difference between a session that works on you and a session that works with you.

A Brief Map of the Seven Chakras

The chakra system is the Tantric map of the subtle body — the energy body that underlies the physical. Each chakra is a centre of energy associated with specific domains of experience:

Muladhara — Root Chakra Located at the base of the spine. Associated with safety, the body, belonging, survival, and your relationship with the physical world. When this centre is balanced, you feel grounded and at home in your body.

Svadhisthana — Sacral Chakra Located just below the navel. Associated with creativity, emotion, pleasure, sexuality, and flow. This centre governs your capacity to feel, to create, and to move fluidly through life.

Manipura — Solar Plexus Chakra Located at the navel. Associated with will, personal power, confidence, digestion of experience, and action. When balanced, you act from clarity rather than fear.

Anahata — Heart Chakra Located at the centre of the chest. Associated with love, compassion, grief, connection, and the bridge between the lower and upper energy centres. This is often where deep healing occurs.

Vishuddha — Throat Chakra Located at the throat. Associated with expression, truth, communication, and authentic voice. Blockages here often manifest as an inability to speak one’s truth or a feeling of being chronically unheard.

Ajna — Third Eye Chakra Located between the eyebrows. Associated with intuition, inner vision, perception, and clarity. When open, you trust your inner knowing.

Sahasrara — Crown Chakra Located at the top of the head. Associated with connection to something larger than the individual self — consciousness, the divine, unity. This centre is less about doing and more about being.

How to Complete the Assessment Honestly

The assessment asks you to reflect on each chakra area — not in abstract spiritual terms, but in terms of your actual lived experience. Some guidance:

Go with your first response. The mind will want to analyse and qualify. The body knows faster. If a question about the root chakra makes you feel a flicker of anxiety, notice that. Don’t talk yourself out of it.

Be honest about what you don’t feel, not just what you do. A numb or absent quality in any area is as informative as pain or blockage. If you genuinely cannot connect with a particular energy centre, say so.

Describe your experience in ordinary language. You do not need to know the Sanskrit terminology or the yogic theory. Describe what you actually feel in your body, your emotions, your life. That is the most useful information.

Do not perform wellness. If things are difficult, say so. The assessment is not a self-presentation. Krish will not judge what you share — it is information that serves the session, nothing more.

Complete Your Chakra Assessment

When you are ready — ideally within a few days of your session — take 10–15 minutes in a quiet moment to fill out the form below. Find a comfortable seat, take a few slow breaths, and answer as honestly as you can.

Open Chakra Assessment Form ↗

Opens in a new tab. Takes approximately 10–15 minutes. Your responses are shared only with Krish and used solely to prepare your session.

What Happens After You Submit

Once Krish receives your assessment, he will review it before your session. You do not need to explain or expand on your answers in advance — the session itself is where the conversation continues. Simply submit the form and trust that what you shared will be held with care.

The assessment is not about arriving with the right answers. It is about arriving honestly.
